Terms to know:
Adherent-clingy, sticking
Lenticel- pore on the stem for gas exchange
Glaucous- silver-grey coloration of grapes; they look as if they are covered in a whitish bloom
Nodes- intersection in which the first set of branches break off; often a location for buds, leaves, flowers and meristem
Hirtellous- minutely shaggy/hairy
Arachnoid- covered in long, delicate hairs (like spider legs!)
Glabrous- hairless
Stipule- one pair of lateral leaf like appendages at the base of the leaf
bifid-2 parts/lobes
trifid- 3 parts/lobes
teniform- tapeworm shaped (leaf)
reniform- kidney shaped (leaf)
cordate- heart shaped (leaf)
